Our Story

Our pickleball nonprofit began with a mission to make pickleball more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. We wanted to bring more people together to share in the sport and its community. To make this happen we want to bring our community together and raise awareness to get courts and make a home base for Pickleball.

Hello, everyone,
I am Diana, the president of Vacaville Pickleball! Due to the large number of new folks showing interest in Vacaville Pickleball I wanted to explain a few things! We are a 501c3 charitable organization, and we consist of 10 (soon to be 12) board members. All decisions concerning guidelines for play, disciplinary actions, finances, and much more are all run through at least the executive board. No one person is making all the decisions on their own. Along with this, we are offering coaching classes for the city of Vacaville! There is a $100 fee attached, which is a 60 / 40 split with the city. This has my name attached as I signed this contract on behalf of Vacaville Pickleball. We have four coaches, Brandon, Matt O., Diana, and Brett, each coaching a Tuesday Session. We are all volunteering our time and are NOT PAID to coach. All the money made is going directly to the association. If you have folks that want to sign up, it is done directly through the city. Thank you all, Diana.
